Tracy Brown began his career with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office, rising through the ranks to serve two terms as sheriff. He led more than 150 employees and earned statewide recognition for modernizing operations, strengthening public safety partnerships, and championing community‑oriented policing.
Since 2015, Tracy has served as a Tippecanoe County Commissioner, where he’s focused on responsible budgeting, long‑term planning, infrastructure improvements, and economic development. He’s worked closely with local leaders to improve public safety, upgrade county facilities, and support growth across Lafayette, West Lafayette, and our rural communities.
